Fresh from the Farm is a fundraiser for all schools and registered child care centres in Ontario. Students raise funds by selling bundles of fresh Ontario root vegetables, which include potatoes, carrots, and onions, and bags of fresh Ontario apples. The innovative school fundraising campaign serves to promote healthy eating to families while supporting Ontario farmers through the sale of Ontario produce. 

Since Fresh from the Farm’s launch in 2013, 2,200 schools have raised over $1.9 million for school initiatives, selling 4.3 million pounds of fresh Ontario-grown fruit and vegetables to Ontario families. This has generated almost $5 million in local food sales.
