Policy Advisor
Jenique attended the University of Toronto where she earned a double major in Political Science and Criminology. After graduating UofT, she continued her studies at the University of Waterloo, where she completed her Master of Public Service degree, which centred on government, public policy, project management, statistics, economics, and research.
Jenique began her career in the Federal government at Environment and Climate Change Canada. Here she used her environmental skill set to develop the State of the Great Lakes Report. She then transitioned into the Provincial sector where she built her public service experience across multiple ministries including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and the Ministry of Infrastructure. In these ministries she gained experience working with municipal stakeholders, advancing municipal and major public infrastructure projects across Ontario, as well as working on provincial funding programs.
She is passionate about using her professional and interpersonal experience working in the Ontario Public Sector to champion for Ontario fruit and vegetable farmers and the edible horticulture industry, as well as to strengthen OFVGA's mandate across government and the public sector.
