CROP AVAILABILITY

The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association now offers a real-time crop availability table. The information is updated weekly by the OFVGA to reflect the variations in actual harvesting dates caused by weather conditions across the province.

This table presents the availability at supermarkets. For each crop item, matching recipes can be accessed by clicking on "Recipes" (in red) in each row.

This development was made in partnership with SOSCuisine.com, a young company committed to helping Canadians regain control over what they eat, in a smart way. Subscribers to this free service receive weekly menus adapted to their food preferences and designed to take advantage of the availability of fresh ingredients on the local market.
