The objective of the OFVGA is the advancement of the practice of horticulture in all its branches and the improvement of marketing through the following:

• By holding an annual meeting for the consideration of questions relating thereto the dealing with of resolutions from its member organizations;
• By cooperating in every possible way with fruit, vegetable, and greenhouse grower organizations and industry members;
• By collecting, arranging, assembling, and disseminating information;
• By stimulating, increasing, and improving the welfare of Ontario fruit and vegetable growers and industry members through proactively lobbying, providing education to government and consumers, through research, and any other means necessary.
