The OFVGA recognizes the changing demands of the consumer and has, since the late 1980s, been a strong advocate of the responsible use, safe handling, and application of pesticides. The Association continues to work closely with organizations, such as AGCare, who advocate this same responsible manner. As well a crop protection section committee was established that works throughout the year to deal with the variety of issues that stem from ensuring producers are getting the most benefit from products on the market while being responsible to changing consumer attitudes.
