If you're interested in seeing how fruits and vegetables are grown in Ontario, check out these Virtual Farm Tours.
On the vegetable farm tour you'll learn how asparagus, potatoes, sweet corn, and cabbage are grown on a typical Ontario vegetable farm.
The fruit farm tour will let you experience a growing season in a peach, cherry and pear orchard, as well as tour through peach and cherry processing plants.
The greenhouse vegetable tour takes you inside a typical southern Ontario greenhouse where you'll see how crops like cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers are grown under glass.
The tours were completed as part of a project by AGCare, with support provided in part by the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and the Agricultural Adaptation Council.
